the elevator pitch

With a career of over 30 years in the creative world, I have developed fantastic industry knowledge and contacts enabling me to constantly grow and challenge myself. I have a brilliant reputation within the industry and suppliers as being creative, dedicated and professional. Harnessing exceptional design, social media, freehand illustration, infographics, video and photography skills but also having authentic offset print experience which has given me insight to practical design for print as well encapsulated with high level security and accessibility expertise.

With superhero level attention to detail, a passion for great brand and design, I flourish in dynamic roles that allow me to work within a great team as well as the flexibility to focus autonomously when needed. Having experience in many realms of design needs from SME’s, Government (Local, State and Federal) - National Archives of Australia, Department of Premier and Cabinet, Queensland Building and Construction Commission, Scenic Rim Regional Council and RSL Queensland, right through to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, I have developed an integrated approach to local, domestic and international audiences forging me into a highly adaptable and open-minded design, video and marketing specialist.

With my most recent fantastic opportunity working with the Department of Premier and Cabinet, Queensland Building and Construction Commission, RSL Queensland and previously Scenic Rim Regional Council, I have gained even more valuable experience within Government, policies, procedures and how design fits in to these important services for our community. This has been great to expand on my previous experience working as Senior Graphic Designer at the National Archives of Australia in beautiful Canberra.

Personally, I am fun, quirky, a tomboy, artistic, quick witted, ambitious, driven, loyal, a proud Mum to my 17yo son, loving fiancé to Darren and mum to loads of cheeky pets. Losing my younger sister to suicide has taught me to value life, so I live it with a very positive mindset, doing what I enjoy with those who love, respect, challenge and help me to grow.
